With a House Edge of 0.058%, Single Deck Blackjack offers the best odds to players. It is available on any online blackjack casino though without variations. It has one deck, the dealer must Hit Soft17, it permits double on any first two cards, only one Split is allowed and the dealer is authorized to look for the blackjack.

Blackjack Switch is ranked second after Single Deck with a House Edge of 0.17%. This is a multi-hand blackjack which requires the player to put two equal bets in each hand. It allows the player to literally switch the second card dealt to the first hand with the second card. Blackjack Switch has variable decks, requires the dealer to Hit Soft 17, a Double on any first two cards is permitted, one Split is allowed and the dealer looks for the Blackjack.

Vegas Strip Blackjack is actually found along the Vegas Strip but also common on online casinos with more variations. It has 4 decks and allows no dealer to Stand Soft 17. It permits a Double on any first two cards and another Double after Split. Three Splits are allowed and the dealer checks for a Blackjack.

Atlantic City Blackjack is more common in Atlantic City casinos and online as well. It has more variations with a House Edge of 0.35%. There are eight decks, dealers are not allowed to Stand Soft 17, Double on any first two cards is permitted, up to 3 Splits are allowed, and the dealer checks for a black jack and a Late Surrender may be permitted.

Vegas Downtown Blackjackis common in Las Vegas casinos and online casinos with a House Edge of 0.38%. It has two decks and requires the dealer to Hit Soft 17. Double on any first two cards is permitted with a Double after Split also allowed. Permits 3 Splits and the dealer checks for a Blackjack.

The European Blackjack has a House Edge of 0.38% and is common among Europeans where its name derives. It has two decks and prohibits the dealer from Standing Soft 17. It Permits Double on two cards with the exceptions of 9,10,and 11. One Split is allowed, no Double after Split and no Surrender whatsoever.
